More Information‘Skye is the place to be and Barabhaig Cottage is the place to stay! It feels like home from home. We come back to this beautiful spot every year to spend our holiday at Isle Ornsay. The bay with the gorgeous view from the cottage over the sound to the mainland is just breath-taking. We love to sit in the garden to enjoy the scenery or stroll along the bay with our dogs. The cosy cottage with an open fireplace is a typical Scottish farmhouse, everything kept in order by the helpful and friendly people from the Estate. When you leave the place you just want to come back! We are already looking forward to our next stay at Barabhaig Cottage. Hotel Eilean Iarmain, with its wonderful restaurant and pub within walking distance, with great food and live music are a real bonus and an absolute must. We have seen many places and holiday cottages in Scotland but this will always be number one for us.”
